On April 14th, The New York Times published an article featuring Sister Schubert and the story of her legendary homemade rolls. The article makes mention of Sister’s much-anticipated new Cast Your Bread Upon the Waters cookbook coming out this summer.  

The following is an excerpt from the article. 

Mrs. Barnes, now 57, got everything right. She used her grandmother’s recipe. She dipped her Parker House-style yeast rolls in real butter. She baked her rolls until done, but not fully browned, and packaged them in round tins.
